Share Account A share account is a savings account needed for membership. Deposit $25.00 into a share account to open your membership. You must maintain a balance of $25.00 for your membership to be active. Once your membership is open, you're eligible to apply for all of Texasgulf FCU's products and services.

Young American's Account A share account for young adults age 13 - 18. Members in the Young American's Club earn prizes for their deposits to encourage saving and are also eligible to open a Share Draft account.*
*Requires a parent or guardian as a joint owner on share draft account.

Share Draft Account A share draft account is a checking account. A deposit of $100.00 is required to open a share draft account. A minimum balance of $400.00 must be meet to avoid paying a $4.00 service charge and to earn dividends.

Free Checking A checking account with no minimum balance requirement, no service charge and does not earn dividends. A deposit of $100.00 is required to open a free checking account.

A share certificate is just like a CD or Certificate of Deposit. A minimum deposit of $500.00 is required to open a share certificate. You can choose from a term of 6, 12, 18 or 36 months for your share certificate. Dividends are paid the 1st of each month and deposited into your share certificate or you can have them sent to you. All share certificates renew automatically on the date of maturity.

You can open a Traditional, Roth, SEP (Simplified Employee Pension Plan), or Coverdell ESA (Education Savings Account) or transfer funds or your entire 401K or other qualified retirement plan into a Traditional IRA. You can invest the funds in your IRA in two (2) ways;
- IRA Share account - a savings account that you can build up to open an IRA Share
certificate.
- IRA Share certificate - an IRA share certificate is just like a CD or Certificate of Deposit. A
minimum deposit of $500.00 is required to open an IRA share certificate. You can choose from a term of 6, 12, 18 or 36 months for your share certificate.

A special checking account for those who don't qualify for our other checking accounts. This account is designed to have your federal payments or benefits direct deposited into. This account is accessed by a Visa Debit Card.
